Just this Winter 2018, the SBCUSD Communications/Community Relations Department developed the Winter Edition of the Celebrating Excellence to contain a "Roadmap to College" with helpful information for college-bound students.

San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) is proud to announce the Valley-Bound Commitment for 2016-2017. This student success program is for low income students and is designed to remove economic barriers and strengthen the academic achievement of its participants through a learning community within the First Year Experience program.

Cal State San Bernardino will guarantee admission to CSUSB for all SBCUSD K16 Bridge 12th - grade students who meet the basic requirements. This is the San Bernardino Promise!
History
In 2014, the leaders of the San Bernardino City Unified School District, Cal State San Bernardino, and Lewis Center for Educational Research entered into an agreement guaranteeing college admission for all students in the San Bernardino City Unified School District who fulfill basic requirements.
