The McGuire brothers still fondly remember the years they spent attending Vermont Elementary School, with the dedicated teachers who shaped them into entrepreneurs and guided them decades before they built their bail bonds empire.

“We love Vermont Elementary,” said Marco McGuire. “It still feels like home to us, and that’s why we devote our resources to supporting the school and its students. Somewhere in one of those classrooms is a future McGuire who’s dreaming of something big. Because that’s the kind of school Vermont is. This is where dreams take root.”

The campus, where five McGuire brothers attended elementary school in the 1980s, will soon have a new soccer field thanks to the brothers’ generosity. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 22 at 10 a.m. to kick off the three-month project, which will include leveling the field, installing drainage and special grass, and making it suitable for students to play soccer.

For Rosa Loera, whose three children attended Vermont Elementary years ago, the soccer field represents goals and opportunities for students. Loera, who now works at Vermont, is organizing an after-school soccer club and already has a waiting list of students waiting to join as soon as the field is ready.

“I have no words to describe what this gift means to the students and to this community,” Loera said. “This project has been a long time coming.”

For Cesar McGuire, his family’s donation is an investment that will pay dividends for years to come.

“I truly believe that continued education is essential to future success and generational wealth. This project is more than just a soccer field, it is an investment in each child that attends Vermont Elementary, now and in the future,” Cesar McGuire said. “My brothers and I couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to us.”
