Hosted by our director of Communications, Linda Bardere, the District brings the community our Hope News broadcast of the 2019-20 school year. In this broadcast we bring the community one of the most significant changes coming to San Bernardino City Schools is a new and improved Community Engagement Plan, which we refer to as CEP 2.0. Over the course of this school year, we will be devoting monthly segments to informing our school community about this new phase of our strategic plan, which serves as our roadmap for making hope happen. This month's strategy is the second of our Community Engagement Plan: Coaching and Mentoring.
The UCAN College Fair is an annual event held to let students know about historically black colleges and universities. Students who attended the UCAN College Fair were able to apply for financial aid, scholarships, and admission on the spot.
Alexander Mattison, San Bernardino High School Alumni, continues his impressive athletic career in the NFL as a running back for the Minnesota Vikings.
The SAC Healthsystem H.O.P.E. Center grand opening is coming up on October 15th from 12-2 p.m. The Hope Center, located at the Welcoming Resource Center 781 A West Second St. San Bernardino, CA 92410, will be open Mondays from 8am-11:30am and 1-4pm, and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12-4pm.
