Each of
Riley College Prep Academy’s 567 students received a toy on Thursday, December 14 thanks to the generosity of the San Bernardino School Police Officers Association.
The association, which represents the District’s police officers, contributed funding that was pooled with money donated by Riley teachers and staff and raised through school events, making it possible for every Riley student to receive a gift. And, the presents were personally delivered by Santa himself!
Many of Riley’s students would not have a gift this holiday season if it were not for the kindness of District Police officers.
“We are immensely grateful for the generosity of our officers and our Riley staff, who care for our students like their own children,” said Riley College Prep Academy Principal
Jaime Esteves. “The spirit of giving is what makes the holiday season so heartwarming.”
