Our Mission: To support the educational process by providing integral health services and advocacy for our diverse community of students.
School Health Services contribute to the goals of the education system and the healthcare system by providing screenings and referrals, administering medications and treatments, providing first aid, providing health counseling and education, and supporting students to acquire self-management skills. The purpose of school health services is to ensure that all students are healthy and ready to learn. The school health team consists of School Nurses, School Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), Health Aides and office support. Our School Nurses are California Registered Nurses (RN) with a Baccalaureate or a Master’s Degree. In addition, the School Nurse possesses a California School Nurse Services Credential.
