Student Services Division

Objective
The main objective of Student Services is to help every student in the San Bernardino City Unified School District graduate with a high school diploma and attend a post secondary program.

To accomplish this objective, it is imperative that all stakeholders pull together to connect our students to a habit of life-long learning and help them become productive citizens. Student Services will do its part by putting forth its resources and energy to enable every child to work to his/her highest potential.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services is to support the vision of the San Bernardino City Unified School District. Student Services will align all systems to cultivate welcoming, safe, and nurturing learning environments at district schools. This work will be accomplished through a collaborative process that maintains a multi-tiered system of supports grounded in mutual respect, cultural competency, and restorative practices for students, staff, families, and community members.

To accomplish this mission, we will actively provide quality education, effective training, cross-cultural understanding, and modeling of care and respect for all stakeholders.
