Summer School

Register through Aeries Parent Portal beginning April 1 until April 24, 2024.

Elementary Summer School:

Summer School will be offered to Elementary students from June 5th - June 28th from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.  (June 17, 2024 is a district observed holiday (No school)).   

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students enrolled in the Summer School Program.

Please call your child’s school site if you have any questions about summer school.

 

Middle School Summer School for Incoming 6th - 8th Graders

June 5 - June 28  (June 17, 2024 is a district observed holiday (No school)). 
8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday - Friday (Lunch 12:00 - 12:30 p.m.)
CAPS  12:30 p.m.-5:30p.m.  Monday - Friday
(Spots are limited) 

Late enrollments will depend on the site's availability. Please note, transportation will not be available for late enrollments. Call your child's 24-25 school site for more information. 

Deadline to enroll for transportation: April 24, 2024.  

High School Summer Bridge and Credit Recovery Programs

Incoming 9th Graders: All high schools offer an in-person Summer Bridge Program for incoming 9th graders only. This program helps students prepare for a successful start to their freshman year. 

Incoming 10th - 12th Graders: Credit Recovery for 10-12th grade students who need to catch up on credits to get back on track for graduation will be offered at each high school.

Please contact your child’s 24-25 school site to register or if you have questions about summer school.

How to Sign up for Summer School using the Aeries Parent Portal

  1. IF using the mobile app, tap More..., and tap Full Portal
  2. OR Login to Aeries Parent Portal (website/browser) https://sbcusd.asp.aeries.net/student
  3. Click on Student Info

  6. Select Yes for Wants to Attend Summer School if you wish to register your student for summer school
  7. IF Yes for Attend Summer School, select Yes or No for Wants to Attend EXL
  8. IF Yes for EXL, select Sunrise, CAPS, Walker or Pickup, and Shirt Size
  9. Click on Policies and Procedures link to read policies and then select Yes or I have reviewed
  10. Click on the Save button

  6. Seleccione Sí para Quiere asistir a la escuela de verano si desea inscribir a su alumno para la escuela de verano
  7. Si su respuesta es Sí para asistir la escuela de verano, seleccione Sí o No para Quiere asistir a EXL
  8. Si su respuesta es Sí para EXL, seleccione Antes de Escuela, CAPS, Caminante o Recogido y Talla de camisa
  9. Haga clic en el enlace de Póliza y Procedimientos para leer las pólizas y después seleccione Sí o He revisado
  10. Haga clic en el botón Save (Guardar).
