Secondary Education Science serves SBCUSD Middle and High Schools (grades 6-12) and focuses on supporting these sites by ensuring that students receive a focused, standards-based science education.

Curriculum oversight, interventions, and district assessments are our primary responsibilities. We also work with site science departments in implementing coaching models and professional learning communities.

It is our goal to make science relevant and rewarding so that students learn how to use science in their day-to-day lives as well as using science to assist them in their future goals for the college and career of their choice.
