AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY PATHWAY

In the Automotive Technology Pathway, students learn a variety of skills related to technology repair and maintenance. Engine and electrical systems, suspension, steering, transmission, and fuel systems, diagnostic tools safety practices, shop management, industry standards and regulations. 


 CULINARY ARTS PATHWAY

In the Culinary Arts Pathway students will learn a variety of skills related to the Culinary Arts industry. Hotel and restaurant management, event planning, culinary arts, customer service skills, food safety, and business ethics.


DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY PATHWAY

DIGITECH I and II are yearlong CTE and A-G college prep course in visual media arts that prepares students for careers in the Digital Arts, Media, and Entertainment Sector: Design, Visual, and Media Arts Pathway. Digitech is a digital art class and will introduce you to the basic principles and concepts of computer graphics design. You will explore applications such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, and be introduced to the use of scanners and printing principles. You will develop the basic skills necessary to operate a computer system; develop an understanding of basic computer vocabulary and design jargon; develop the knowledge and skills needed to operate peripheral equipment; and develop an understanding of computer graphics and its impact on modern industries in Art and Graphic Design.


 

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PATHWAY

The Early Childhood Education Pathway provides training for entry-level positions in the childcare industry. The skills taught can be used in a variety of different childcare settings such as center-based, home-based, and elementary school (grades K-3). Classroom instruction and practical experiences include child development, child management, health and safety issues and curriculum exploration.  With these skills, students will have a solid foundation for continued training in this field at the postsecondary level.

CONSTRUCTION OCCUPATIONS PATHWAY

In the Construction Occupations Pathway, students gain the knowledge and skills in a sequential, standards-based pathway program that integrates hands-on, project-based, and work-based instruction. Standards included in the building and construction trades sector are designed to prepare students for technical training, postsecondary education, and entry into a career.

JOBS OF CALIFORNIA GRADUATES (JCG) PATHWAY

In the Jobs of California Graduates pathway students acquire vital job skills, get hands-on experience, and receive a year of post-grad support, nurturing students through as they transition into career and post-secondary education.
 


 

PROJECT LEAD THE WAY (PLTW) BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE ACADEMY

The Academy of Health Science prepares students to pursue health-related degrees and professions in one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy, such as biotechnology, genetics, nursing, therapeutics, and diagnostics. Students get to practice what they learn in class through the many labs embedded into the curriculum.

PROJECT LEAD THE WAY (PLTW) Honors ENGINEERING ACADEMY

In this pathway students work on interdisciplinary activities like working with a client to design a home, programming electronic devices or robotic arms, or exploring algae as biofuel source. This course empowers students to develop essential skills such as problem solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and perseverance.
