Commercial Music Pathway

The Indian Springs High School Commercial Music Pathway prepares students to master recording, mixing, and editing vocals, create original songs using GarageBand, and understand music theory and sound production. Students will develop advanced skills in band recording, synthesis, off-site recording, and live sound reinforcement. They will produce their own electronic music, explore careers in the music industry, and gain proficiency with industry-standard software and equipment.

DIGITAL DESIGN PATHWAY

The Indian Springs High School Digital Design Pathway is a three-year course of study that exposes students to graphic design through Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. In their second and third years, students will learn how to design an original product where they will learn the business side of product development, the understanding of intellectual property, marketing and advertising. Students will leave the Digital Design Pathway with a personal website showcasing a portfolio of original designs they have created over the course of their study in the pathway.


TECHNICAL THEATRE PATHWAY

In the Indian Springs High School Technical Theatre Pathway, students are introduced to theatre appreciation and history through the lens of a technical theatre. Students will learn backstage fundamentals such as design (including the critique and analysis of various artistic processes and theoretical perspective seen in art), safety, theatre terminology and tool handling, properties, sound, scenic construction and lighting to prepare students to participate not only on technical crews at the high school productions, but collegiate and professional theatres.

HEALTH ACADEMY

The Indian Springs Health Academy prepares students for deeper studies in the Medical and Health Sciences industry.

Everyone begins their journey into the field with a course in medical terminology, ensuring they have the strong foundational vocabulary and language of the health field. Following this foundational course, students will choose an area of concentrated study.

Their first choice: The Patient Care Pathway is designed for students who are interested in any career that involves patient care. Students will receive an insight into both pre-hospital and in-hospital patient care by first taking the First Responder course then progressing into the CNA course. Students will have the opportunity to earn their CPR and First Aid certifications.

Their second choice: The Sports Medicine and Advanced Sports Medicine Pathway, which introduces students to the world of athletic training and sports therapy.

MACHINING ACADEMY

In the Indian Springs High School Machining Academy, Students will explore the high-tech manufacturing industry, emphasizing OSHA safety, conventional machines, and machining processes. They will learn to create blueprints with SolidWorks software and 3D printing. The curriculum includes skills in CNC machines, programming, SolidWorks CAD, and laser machines, equipping students for future careers and college. Students will apply CNC programming to mills and lathes, produce parts, and perform basic milling and tool path adjustments.

In their second and third years, students progress into CNC programming and machining, earning nationally recognized NIMS (National Institute of Metalworking Skills) certifications, and finally interning with our industry partners as seniors.
 
 

MARKETING PATHWAY

The Indian Springs High School Marketing Pathway prepares students to explore the dynamic world of business, branding, and digital promotion. Students will learn how to research target audiences, develop creative advertising campaigns, and design marketing materials using industry-standard tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud. They will develop skills in social media strategy, entrepreneurship, and public speaking while learning how to communicate ideas that inspire and influence.

Students will gain hands-on experience creating real-world marketing projects, from product launches to digital campaigns, and will explore careers in marketing, advertising, and business management. By the end of the pathway, they will have developed the creativity, communication, and analytical skills needed to succeed in college, business, or the ever-evolving marketing industry.
