Linked Learning is an approach to education that transforms the traditional high school experience by bringing together strong academics, a demanding technical education, and real-world experiences to help students gain an advantage in high school, post-secondary education, and careers.

Visit each of our high school's Linked Learning pages to find out what pathways and academies are available to each student:

The image presents a visual breakdown of the critical components of linked learning academies, highlighting key aspects such as rigorous academics, real-world technical skills, work-based learning, and personalized support.

Selecting a pathway in high school does not determine a student's lifelong career path. Instead it enhances the high school experience by exposing students to a range of professions and develops students' skills and confidence, which are needed in any profession.

Students gain real-world experience and make connections with professionals in their field of interest through paid internships, job shadowing, and apprenticeships.

Linked Learning includes a college-preparatory curriculum that helps meet the necessary A-G requirements for admission to a UC or CSU.

Linked Learning prepares high school students for a full range of post-graduation opportunities and ensures that students gain both academic and technical skills, since both are necessary for a complete education and a successful future.
