This four-day professional development (PD) series is designed to help teachers develop the practices that close gaps for African American students. For training location, check PD Connect. RACIAL SLURS Professional Development

This half-day session will provide participants
with a protocol for addressing the N-word as a
hurtful racial slur.
ATTENDEES WILL:
1.Examine our District's new protocol for
responding to the N-word.
2.Critically analyze the historical
origin, impact, and shifting views
toward the word.
3.Develop a plan for implementing the
protocol at their sites.
