
San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) strives to be the best at getting better. To that end, SBCUSD is announcing several leadership changes to better serve students and families.
Dr. Lorraine Perez is the new assistant superintendent of Educational Services. She will be taking over the position vacated by Dr. Kennon Mitchell, who recently took a position with the Adelanto Elementary School District. Dr. Perez had previously served as assistant superintendent of Student Services.
Nertha-Arroyo Goodly is now the vice principal at Hillside Elementary School. Previously, she served as the vice principal at Wilson Elementary School. Vice Principal Cynthia Zavala has transferred from Hillside Elementary School to Lincoln Elementary School.
Toni Woods, who led the transformation of Del Vallejo Middle School into Del Vallejo Leadership and STEAM Academy, is now the principal of Rio Vista Elementary School. Jackie Maner, who served as Del Vallejo’s vice principal, was promoted to the school’s principal.
Erin Freeman has been promoted from Serrano Middle School’s vice principal to principal.
