The mission of the College and Career Readiness/Linked Learning Department is to assist students, cradle to career, to recognize and capitalize on the promise embodied in their attained knowledge, skills, and proficiencies required for college, career, civic, and economic success.  

Linked Learning is an approach to education that transforms the traditional high school experience by bringing together strong academics, a demanding technical education, and real-world experiences to help students gain an advantage in high school, post-secondary education, and careers.

Over the course of the student's enrollment at SBCUSD they will gain valuable attributes, knowledge, and skills that will better equip them for their future education and employment. Some of these characteristics include
