Student Messages and Deliveries
On October 16, 2007, the San Bernardino City Unified School District adopted a policy that restricts classroom interruptions (Educational Code 32212). Deliveries to students during the school day shall be limited to only those of urgent matters. Deliveries of urgent matter include medication, house keys, or messages approved by the administration.

Unacceptable deliveries include flowers, balloons, gifts, electronic devices, food, beverages, money, or messages not deemed urgent by the administration.

Emergency messages must be cleared by the vice principal’s office and must be fully explained by the calling party. CALLING PARTY MUST BE LISTED ON THE EMERGENCY CARD. Medical and dental appointments must be cleared by the Attendance Office.
