Who May Apply
Students interested in AVID must:
  • Have appropriate classroom behavior
  • Have a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average
  • Have a good attendance record
  • Have good work habits
  • Be willing to commit themselves to a minimum of two hours of homework each night
  • Be willing to commit to enrollment in a rigorous college preparatory sequence of courses
  • Have the determination and desire to go to college
