Overview
The San Bernardino Adult School is part of the San Bernardino City Unified School District.  It has been in existence since April 5, 1920, when the School Board passed a resolution creating the Adult School. 

Throughout the years, the Adult School has gone through many changes; nevertheless, the school's objective to provide education based on the needs of the community remains unchanged.

Mission Statement
The San Bernardino Adult School provides a bridge to post secondary education and the labor market through delivery of quality education.

Who We Serve
We serve adults ages 18 and older.

Programs
Our programs include:

  • High School Diploma
  • GED Test Preparation
  • English as a Second Language
  • (CBET) Community-Based English
  • Business and Computer Education
  • Medical Education 
  • Industrial (Welding, Apprenticeship, Custodial)  
  • Older Adults
  • Adults with Special Needs
  • Personal Enrichment Fee-Based Classes

*Please note:
Summer office hours are M-F from7:45 am - 3:30 pm unless there is a scheduled evening registration!

We also have a Student Transition Center available to our students.
