Welcome to the Indian Springs High School
                               College and Career Center

The College and Career Center is a multi-functional resource center created to cater to students diverse needs in forming a clear picture of their futures.

The center will facilitate student advancement toward a college education or an immediate introduction toward a career path.

Applying to college can be a confusing and lengthy process. At the College/Career Center we help students every step of the way ---informing students of deadlines for financial aid, grants, aptitude tests, and college application; explaining academic requirement; assistance with completing UC/CSU applications, FAFSA forms, and much more.

For those students not interested in post-secondary education we can use the Center's many resources to help students narrow down their careers of interest, along with things like required education, potential for advancement, and future earnings. One of our most valuable tools in this process is "Career Cruising", the premier online career guidance resource. Sophomore students in particular can use this fun and informative program to

begin researching which fields suit their talents and interests, and the best path to take toward those promising careers.

Along with all face-to-face assistance and online resources we offer, the Center has a wide variety of informative publication/materials available to parents and students including college catalogs, military brochures, reference books, and program applications.

Last, but certainly not least, every year the Center invites representatives from colleges/universities to speak at Indian Springs High School and provide information about the curriculum, application process, life on campus, scholarships and gives the opportunity to students to ask questions in order to gain a deeper understanding of their colleges/programs of interest.

The College and Career Center is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., will remain open during both lunches and from 2:45pm-3:45pm on Tuesday and Thursday to assist students, staff, and parents.
