Background Investigations for Volunteers
All volunteers must submit a completed “District Volunteer Application Form” to the site administrator. The site administrator/principal will, in turn, forward these completed forms to the District Police Department for screening.
The District Police will screen each volunteer applicant’s criminal history to determine suitability. The District Police will immediately contact the site administrator if the applicant is not cleared to volunteer with the district. Under certain conditions, applicants may be asked by the District Police to pay $10.00 to San Bernardino County Sheriff for an expanded criminal history check.
