Mrs. Margaret B. Hill earned a Masters degree in Education and Administration from Cal Sate San Bernardino. In 2011, she was bestowed an honorary doctorate from the University of Redlands.
She began teaching in 1971 at San Bernardino High School. The last 16 years of her District career were spent as the principal of San Andreas High School until her retirement in 2003.
Margaret returned to work at the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office in 2006, where she was assistant superintendent of Administrative Services until her retirement July 2, 2012.
She serves on various organizations and clubs, including the Highland Woman’s Club, the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., San Bernardino Black Culture Foundation, Time for Change Foundation, Sheriff’s Department Information Exchange Committee, Kiwanis of Greater San Bernardino and the San Bernardino Police Department Citizen Advisory Group.
Margaret has received local, county, state, and federal awards for her community service.
She recently published her second book, "From Sharecropping to Non-Stopping". Her first book, “It’s All About The Children” is highly acclaimed.
