This course introduces students to various welding techniques. The course is especially designed for students who have a career interest in the welding field. The course will include classroom and practical instruction in arc, oxy-acetylene, metal inert gas, tungsten inert gas welding and cutting methods. Students that achieve competency in this course have an excellent opportunity for entry-level employment in the welding field and the ability to continue their education and training at a post-secondary institution.

Mr. Hernandez joins the ROP team with 16 years of experience in the Ironworkers industry. He has been teaching welding for ten years. He presently teaches for the ROP as well as the San Bernardino Adult School and Mt. Sac College.
