These programs are governed by numerous rules and regulations.  Their common goal
is to provide access to mastery of district and state standards for all students and to meet
the special educational needs of English learners, educationally disadvantaged pupils, 
gifted and talented pupils, and students with disabilities.

Economic Impact Aid (EIA) Carryover Funding 2013-2014 and 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 Expenditures

Pursuant to SB 754,  the San Bernardino City Unified School District’s Categorical Program’s Office has posted the 2013-2014 and 2012-2013 Economic Impact Aid expenditures. As a philosophy and practice, the San Bernardino City Unified School District believes that Economic Impact Aid funds be allocated in a given year are expended to their fullest on that year’s students to maximize academic achievement for disadvantaged and English Learner students. In collaboration with all stakeholders, the District and school sites work together planning, conducting needs assessments, evaluating program effectiveness and practicing continuous monitoring to ensure that EIA expenditures are consistent with the Local Education Agency (LEA) Plan and the site’s Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) goals and objectives.
