Some District schools are identified as Program Improvement (PI) schools because they have not met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) criteria for two consecutive years.  These schools offer parents the option of transferring to an available school within the district that has not been identified as a PI school.  This option is called Public School Choice.  The District covers the cost of transportation.
