GED Test Preparation

GED Test Preparation Classes
$10.00 each for three books

Classes cover each of the four GED test areas: Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science and Social Studies. Classes are open entry and available both daytime and evenings  for your convenience.

Pre-GED Test Preparation Classes
No book required

These classes are for students who need to improve their reading, writing and math skills before transferring into the GED Test Preparation program. Classroom activities include whole group and individual instruction, computer programs and tutoring.  Classes are open entry and available daytime and evenings.

Enrollment Process:

 

Step 1 Arrow

Registration:

Registration is held monthly, bi-monthly or weekly.  Please call the Counseling Center to find out when registration will be held.  (909) 388-6000


You will be scheduled to take an assessment test.

Step 2 Arrow

 Assessment:
            
 All students are required to take a two-hour reading and math assessment test for placement purposes.

No children are allowed in the Assessment Center during testing.

You will be scheduled for an Orientation / Strategies for Success class.

 

Step 3 Arrow

Orientation:

The Orientation / Strategies for Success class is six hours long.  You will meet with a member of the Counseling Team to enroll in class(es) during this time.

Counselors will evaluate your scores from the assessment test and place you in class based on your scores, work schedule, family responsibilities and the availability of classes.  

Purchase your books in the Main Office before the first day of class.
